Petaluma High School

Track and Field Replacement

Petaluma, CA

Petaluma High School’s worn Ellison Field, used for physical education classes and host to practice and games for the lacrosse, track and field, and football teams, was in need of an upgrade. QKA replaced the existing field with synthetic turf with cork infill, an environmentally friendly choice that significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required.

Wrapping around this all-weather field is a brand new rubber track, also accessible to the local community. In addition, patrons attending a sports game will enjoy the new entryway, concessions building, ticket booth and restrooms, which replaced structures that were over 50 years old. Lastly, extensive work was completed to bring the site up to ADA compliance standards.
