Analy and El Molino High Schools

Stadium Renovations

Sebastopol/Forestville, CA

Formerly consisting of well-worn natural turf and mediocre lighting, the fields at Analy (AHS) and El Molino High Schools (EMHS) were consistently damp, uneven, irregular, and visibility was poor. After considering multiple turf options, ultimately synthetic turf with cork infill was selected to replace the rundown grass fields. This natural material significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required, has no health concerns, and provides an all-weather playing surface at both campuses.

Also touting all-weather capabilities and a synthetic surface are the eight-lane tracks. Construction of new 969-seat bleachers at AHS and 667-seat bleachers at EMHS, installation of proper event lighting at AHS, and new surrounding landscaping and a press box at both campuses were incorporated in the overhauls. With these upgrades, Analy and El Molino sports teams like football, soccer and lacrosse can chase their pennants.

Making a Difference
Student athletes now have competitive and healthy fields and stadiums to practice and play various sports, while spectators can enjoy school events in modern and comfortable facilities.
"It has been a pleasure to work with QKA for most of my career. They understand school facilities, limited budgets, and time constraints. QKA did a great job listening to the facilities occupants and designing spaces that met their needs while also staying within our project budget."
