Napa Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium Renovation

Napa, CA

Home to both the Napa High School Indians and the Vintage High School Crushers, the stadium had been an important part of the Napa community for more than 50 years. Unfortunately, the facility’s aging concrete bleachers were structurally decaying and in need of constant repair, and the team rooms, restrooms and concessions were woefully inadequate. The renovation added a new entry plaza that creates a dramatic gateway. In addition, new 7000-seat bleachers and a sunken, synthetic turf soccer and football field were designed and installed to preserve the intimacy of the old stadium, while increasing playability and decreasing maintenance. The project also included installation of elevators, two press boxes, parking lots, landscaping and a rain water harvesting system.

"Completion of this shared facility has given both Napa High School and Vintage High School a home field complex second to none in the North Bay. From the new sound system and lighting to the locker room facilities, the thoughtfulness and practicality of the design is apparent."
