Sebastopol, Calif., October 5, 2026 – West Sonoma County Union High School District (WSCUHSD) cut the ribbon this week on its new CTE (Career Technical Education) Center at Analy High School (Analy). Designed by Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) and built by GCCI, the new facility provides students with dedicated, hands-on spaces to build career skills across engineering, welding, design thinking, culinary and hospitality arts, and agricultural sciences.
Funded by local Measure A bond funds, the single-story, 15,000-square-foot facility serves as an innovation hub accommodating up to 371 occupants. On the interior, the building includes a super fabrication studio with advanced welding equipment, a culinary arts center with auxiliary prep spaces, agricultural science classrooms, an innovative technology lab, a collaboration room, two flex classrooms, and gender-neutral restrooms. The project also exceeds Title 24 energy efficiency standards.
“This facility is a huge investment in the future of our students,” said Chris Meredith, superintendent of WSCUHSD. “Having access to modern spaces and industry-grade tools gives our students the exact foundation they need to pursue their interests and master practical skills. We are so grateful to our community for their ongoing support, as well as the project team whose hard work brought this vision to life.”
Managed by WSCUHSD’s female-led facilities team, the project was developed through extensive collaboration among district administrators, Analy educators, and the design and construction teams. This partnership ensured every studio and classroom was tailored to match current industry standards and local workforce needs.
“We wanted to build a flexible, inspiring space where students can dive straight into hands-on learning,” said Kevin Chapin, principal at QKA. “Seeing students step into these studios and immediately engage with the materials and technology is the ultimate validation of this work.”
The building addresses West Sonoma County’s growing demand for equitable, high-quality technical education, expanding regional workforce development pathways for years to come. With classes now underway, the facility stands as a vibrant community asset dedicated to empowering the next generation of local leaders and skilled professionals.
