Monica Flores was inspired to pursue a career in Human Resources from her first high school job working at Disneyland, where she experienced first-hand the feeling of an effective onboarding strategy. Being an integral part of helping new employees feel welcomed and excited to begin their journey with a company is something she is passionate about. Monica makes it a point to connect to staff and be their “go-to” person for everything from understanding benefits to navigating interpersonal workplace relations. She finds that these connections are the key to a more fulfilling and successful work environment.
Prior to joining QKA in 2021, Monica worked in human resource management in a variety of industries, including distribution, manufacturing, and education. Her experiences have brought on both challenges and personal growth, in which she has been fortunate to learn and pass on her knowledge to others. She is grateful to now be at a company where staff see each other not only as fellow team members but also as an extension of their family.
