Additionally, Brooke Knight, Katy Fishman and Jaclyn Marx have been promoted to Associate for the more than 75-person firm operating offices in Santa Rosa and Oakland.
Currently Director of Design, VanSlambrouck has 20 years of experience in the industry designing and managing complex projects for Bay Area school districts. As Principal, Young’s role will expand to managing all aspects of the firm’s business operations, including human resources (HR) and finance.
VanSlambrouck and Young join current principals Aaron Jobson, Jim Theiss, John Dybczak, Lyanne Schuster, Kevin Chapin and Nick Stephenson.
“Eddie and Tiffany’s promotions to principal are a direct reflection of the essential roles they play in QKA’s success, both externally and internally,” commented Jobson, QKA President and CEO.” As we continue to grow, we are committed to ensuring we have the structure in place to provide the highest level of service and support to our clients, employees and communities.”
Further reinforcing the firm’s strengths, QKA has elevated three new Associates: Knight to Director of Interior Design, Fishman to Director of Marketing and Marx to Director of Finance. Utilizing her 20 years of experience in the education and healthcare sectors, Knight will manage and expand QKA’s growing Interior Design team, expanding its expertise and services in this area. Fishman will spearhead the firm’s comprehensive business development and marketing vision, working closely with executive leadership to shape strategic growth initiatives and elevate QKA’s presence. Finally, Marx will oversee financial management and strategic financial planning to align with the firm’s business goals. Her extensive accounting background enables her to collect and analyze financial data effectively to drive strategic decision-making.
“The remarkable talent across all QKA departments is evident,” Jobson added. “These promotions are key to strengthening our internal operations and enhancing our ability to design exceptional learning environments. We look forward to celebrating these new roles and the achievements of our talented and dedicated team.”
