    SANTA ROSA, Calif., Dec. 3, 2013 – The Quattrocchi Kwok Architects-designed Geospatial Science Center at Piner High School was named a Top Real Estate Project of the Year by the North Bay Business Journal. The winner in the K-12 category, the Center completed construction and opened for the Fall 2013 school year. A profile on the project, which was featured in the Dec. 2 issue, can be found here.

  • Three Performing Arts Theaters Designed by Quattrocchi Kwok Architects Opening in San Mateo Union High School District

    SAN MATEO, Calif., Oct. 3, 2013 – Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) announces the completion of three theater projects this month for the San Mateo Union High School District (SMUHSD), and will celebrate the grand opening of the newly renovated, 1,540-seat, 55,000-square-foot San Mateo Performing Arts Center (SMPAC) at San Mateo High School on Oct. 3. The openings of a renovated theater at Mills High School and a new theater at Hillsdale High School will follow later this month.

  • Additional Flexible Learning Spaces Will Allow for a New Way of Learning

    CORTE MADERA, Calif., Sept. 26, 2013 – Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) announces the completion of a classroom renovation and modernization project at Neil Cummins Elementary School in the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District (LCMSD). Existing classrooms, which dated back to the 1950’s, all underwent renovations, and additions were constructed between pairs of classrooms to provide small group flexible spaces for collaborative learning. Neil Cummins’ renovations come on the heels of LCMSD’s groundbreaking of the Cove School in August, a future elementary school, also designed by QKA.

  • Quattrocchi Kwok Architects On-Site for “Topping Out”

    CUPERTINO, Calif., Mar. 6, 2013 – The new Student Union Building at Cupertino High School in the Fremont Union High School District “topped out” yesterday, reaching a significant milestone in the completion of the new facility. Design firm Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) looked on as students, board members and staff signed the final beam of the east bridge canopy, which was then hoisted and secured in place.
