We recognize this is the only way to improve the capability and knowledge base of our firm and to promote a culture of growth and learning. Individual staff development plans are developed for each employee to set goals, identify strategies for development and agree on actionable steps to move forward.
In this spirit of investment, we’ll pay for your Architectural Registration exam and study materials and assist you with AIA membership dues. We offer lots of opportunities for growth and achievement—from a mentoring program and in-house Mini-Lectures, to product lunches, CAD training, and LEED study groups. In addition, each full-time staff member receives the following benefits:

QKA R + D
Recognizing that staff development contributes to the success of the firm, the QKA Research + Development (R + D) program encourages employees to conduct deeper research and thinking into topics relevant to the work we do and builds on the employee’s interests and expertise. QKA R + D projects are focused on topics important to the future of educational facilities design. Interested employees submit an application and the selected projects are awarded a stipend. With these employee driven projects, QKA’s collective knowledge base and expertise continues to grow.
