Heritage High School was created with continuous input by school staff, parents and students to design a campus that supports the Educational Program. The design provides four Core classroom clusters and four specialized Academy clusters (for juniors & seniors). As a highly specialized curriculum, the Academies are unique in their architectural expression — each taking an imagery reflecting its use.

Use of sustainable materials, abundant daylight, views and sun shading are integrated into the school's design. Parking lot and roof drain runoff flows through vegetated swales to release sediments prior to entering the neighboring creek. The Elliptical Campus Green provides an organizing element for the campus and creates an important gathering place.
