This modernization project was accomplished in 11 phases. Work was spread over a period of 4 ½ years to accommodate cash flow requirements. The work was a result of QKA’s Facility Master Plan and included multiple OPSC funding programs.

This project completely modernized a 73,200 square foot 1937 campus that includes an 842 seat theater and a new cafeteria. About 40% of the structure was repaired or replaced to remedy dry rot and other water related damage. The modernization included new plumbing, heating, electrical, fire alarm and communications systems. Work also included all new roofing, siding and windows as well as modernizing all interior spaces, necessary site work and a new central courtyard.
