The south side of the Monte Vista High School campus suffered from years of neglect including dilapidated buildings from the 1950’s. Seeing the opportunity to remake and integrate this isolated portion of the campus, QKA master planned a new hub for student activity.

Our work provided a new three-story classroom building that supports the school’s Educational Program, and new applied technologies/ robotics labs to support this school’s award winning program. Other improvements include a new culinary arts facility including student serving windows, enlarged dining commons with a generous outdoor eating area and a new student run daycare facility with outdoor playground.

Combined with site development and courtyards, the new and renovated facilities create a popular and successful place for students to gather and work.
