Stan Clark, AIA • Senior Associate
Bachelor of Architecture – California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo
Licensed since 1979, Stan Clark joined Quattrocchi Kwok Architects in 1996 and became an Associate in 2000. In addition to managing projects, Stan supervises architects, human resources and the implementation of staff training/educational programs. Stan’s educational projects include restoration of the historic Penngrove School, the Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School in Pacifica, the Brook Haven Middle School in Sebastopol and three new campuses in San Ramon.
Stan was Project Manager for the new Kenilworth Junior High School in Petaluma. This highly energy efficient and environmentally responsive campus qualifies as a High Performance School by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS). With a keen interest in environmentally responsive design, Stan is a LEED accredited design professional.
Jim Theiss, AIA • Associate
Bachelor of Architecture – California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo
Since joining Quattrocchi Kwok Architects in 2000, Jim Theiss serves as a Project Architect and Associate for numerous projects, including the 2,200 student Heritage High School in Brentwood, the Brentwood Community Center and a multitude of community and educational projects in the coastal communities of Mendocino and Fort Bragg.
As an Associate of the firm, Jim’s duties include overseeing architects and participating in management of the firm. Jim brings years of experience working with committees and boards to establish, refine and accomplish goals and realize successful projects.
Aaron Jobson, AIA • Associate
Bachelor of Architecture – University of California at Berkeley
Since 2002, Aaron Jobson has been an integral part of some of Quattrocchi Kwok Architects most complicated and successful projects, including Heritage High School, Tamalpais High School and Live Oak Elementary School. Aaron has most recently served as Project Architect for the new, 2,200 student American Canyon High School, which is striving to become one of the first CHPS Verified schools.
Aaron has worked to promote great design and sustainable strategies both within the firm and the community at large. He has led QKA teams in a number of design competitions including one dealing with low-income housing in post-Katrina New Orleans. In addition to managing projects and staff, Aaron also led QKA’s transition to 3D-based Building Information Modeling software (BIM), which has been successfully integrated into all of their work.
