Features:
Main basketball and volleyball court, four practice basketball courts, two practice volleyball courts, six badminton courts, bleachers for 1,100

The new Lower Lake High School Gymnasium is the largest facility of its kind in Lake County. The building is entered through a spacious lobby that holds the ticket booth concession area and restroom facilities. The lobby has large windows through which games and matches can be viewed. The gymnasium provides a full sized regulation basketball court and two practice courts with retractable goals. There are also full sized volleyball courts for competition and practice. Wrestling mats are stored on a hoist when not in use. The gym has a curtain that can divide the space in to two so that simultaneous physical education classes or activities can occur at the same time. Fully retractable, electrically operated bleachers can hold 1,100 spectators when opened. A ribbon of translucent glazing rings the top of the gymnasium providing abundant day lighting while avoiding direct sun light – this allows use of the space without the use of artificial lighting.

The balance of the building has full locker room facilities, team rooms, offices for coaches and PE staff and a full complement of storage for athletic equipment as well tables and chairs for assemblies.
