Heritage High School provides a large aquatic and athletic complex for student and community use. The large gymnasium provides north wall and roof top diffuse natural lighting to reduce dependence on artificial lighting. As part of a sloping site, the lobby is located on the uphill side of the gymnasium, allowing spectators a dramatic entry overlooking the gym floor.

A second gymnasium is located on the back side of the main gym’s folding bleachers. Below this gymnasium is the wrestling and weight rooms. The 50-meter eight-lane pool & aquatic center is jointly funded and used for both City and school competitive events and includes separate student and City locker rooms.
